Ignite your imagination with us at Sparks and Arcs - Welding Camp! During this 3-day Introductory Welding Camp, students will explore the principles of Gas Metal Arc Welding, learn industrial shop safety, and try their hand in the booth under the supervision of our experienced team of instructors. Upon completion, students will even take home their own custom welding project! All materials, equipment, and PPE is provided. Students must be in 3rd grade or higher to enroll.

Join us this Summer for another collaboration with Artfire Michigan! In this single day session, students will get an introduction to blacksmithing, learn about industrial shop safety, and will get the opportunity to fabricate their very own forged flower!

Join us as we DIG into the world of Construction and Heavy Equipment Operation! This summer, we welcome students to The Workshop to learn about careers in Heavy Equipment Operation and Commercial Construction. Under the guidance of industry professionals, students will get the opportunity to learn how to operate some of the largest machines in the industry! Students will also learn about industrial saftey, construction framing, electrical wiring, drywall installation and much more! This class is designed for students in 6th grade and up. Equipment, materials, PPE, T-Shirt, and snacks included. 

Join us at The Workshop for our Popular Trades Exploration Camp For Girls!  During this three day camp, students will be introduced to Industrial Safety, Welding, Woodworking, Electrical Circuitry and Soldering. Explore the trades under the guidance of our staff, and become a real-life Rosie! All materials, PPE, t-shirt and snacks are included. Class is open to students in 3rd grade and up.

In this hands-on woodworking camp, young makers will explore the exciting world of building, creating, and problem-solving! Designed especially for 1st–3rd graders, students will learn basic shop skills in a safe, supportive environment while using real (kid-friendly) tools.

Through guided projects, children will practice measuring, cutting, sanding, and assembling their own creations to take home. Along the way, they’ll build confidence, creativity, and teamwork skills...all while having fun!

No experience needed, just bring curiosity and a willingness to create!
